How Reelm handles personal data. We act as a processor for the video content your end-users view, and as a controller for your account data.
Data we collect
Account data (organization, your contact email captured at checkout, billing identifiers via our payment processor). Operational data (usage metering, playback analytics — pseudonymous session identifiers, not viewer identities). Authentication is handled by our identity provider.
Subprocessors
We use third parties to run the service: a managed Postgres host (Supabase), edge compute + object storage (Cloudflare), authentication (Clerk), payments and tax (Polar, our merchant of record), and transactional email (Resend). Each processes data only as needed to provide their function.
How we use data
To provide and meter the service, bill you, send transactional notices (quota, billing, account), prevent abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Account and content data are retained while your account is active. On deletion we erase your videos, renditions, analytics, keys, and webhooks, and close the account (see Your rights).
Your rights (GDPR/erasure)
You can export all data we hold for your account, and delete your account and its data, from Settings in the dashboard. For other rights (access, rectification, objection), contact us.
