Estimates use each provider's public list pricing as of June 2026. Real bills vary by region, committed-use discounts, and your exact resolution mix. We convert minutes and gigabytes using standard bitrates (720p at 2.5 Mbps, 1080p at 5 Mbps, 4K at 16 Mbps).
- Cloudflare Stream: $5 per 1,000 minutes stored, $1 per 1,000 minutes delivered.
- Mux: per-minute delivery by resolution (first 100,000 minutes per month free), plus storage. One-time encoding is not included here, so the real Mux number is a little higher.
- Bunny Stream: $0.005 per GB stored, about $0.01 per GB delivered. Genuinely the cheap option, and still grows with every view.
- Self-host (AWS S3 + CloudFront): $0.023 per GB stored, $0.085 per GB egress, and you still have to build transcoding and a player yourself.
- Reelm: the storage tier that fits your library (Starter $9 / Pro $29 / Business $99). Streaming and views are free, so this number does not move when a video takes off.
